Additional Information for Advertisers/Recruiters
Surveyor Jobs (‘the site’) is the primary choice for all the best positions in the highways and transportation sector, and related environmental disciplines. As with all advertising mediums, we do not guarantee response rates. Response rates can vary from week to week and may also be affected by the quality of your job copy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your employer account, Profile and passwords, as applicable. You may not share your password or other account access information with any other party, temporarily or permanently, and You shall be responsible for all uses of your Surveyor Jobs registrations and passwords, whether or not authorised by you. You agree to immediately notify Hemming Group Limited of any unauthorized use of your employer account, profile, or passwords.

Employers are solely responsible for their postings on Surveyor Jobs. Hemming Group Limited is not to be considered to be an employer with respect to your use of Surveyor Jobs and Hemming Group Limited shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason, made by any entity posting jobs on Surveyor Jobs.

You understand and acknowledge that if you cancel your employer account or your employer account is terminated, all your account information, including saved CVs, network contacts, and email mailing lists, will be marked as deleted in and may be deleted from Hemming Group Limited’s databases. Information may continue to be available for some period of time because of delays in propagating such deletion through Hemming Group Limited’s web servers.

Product terms

Recruiters purchase credits on Surveyor Jobs enabling them to post job advertisements, promote these jobs advertisements and purchase candidate CV views. The credit term is 12 months starting from the date of invoice after which they expire.
A job posting is an advertisement for a job vacancy that will be placed on Surveyor Jobs. Job postings, including promoted job advertisements, appear on the site for a period of 28 days on posting.

Each job posting may include one job description, a location or locations, a job sector or sectors, a recruiter logo displayed with the job listing and a salary band.
A promoted job listing means the advertisement appears as a ‘featured job’ on the Surveyor Jobs home page, randomised with other promoted jobs listings, and highlighted in relevant candidate searches. The recruiter agrees that all postings that it displays on Surveyor Jobs will relate to specific live job positions and will not be stock or generic job descriptions.


Job postings

A Job posting may not contain:
(a) any hyperlinks, other than those specifically authorized by Hemming Group Limited;
(b) misleading, unreadable, or ‘hidden’ keywords, repeated keywords or keywords that are irrelevant to the job opportunity being presented, as determined in Hemming Group Limited’s reasonable discretion;
(c) the names, logos or trademarks of unaffiliated companies other than those of your customer save where expressly agreed by Hemming Group Limited;
(d) the names of colleges, cities, states, towns or countries that are unrelated to the posting;
(e) more than one job or job description, more than one location, or more than one job category, unless the product so allows;
(f) inaccurate, false, or misleading information; and
(g) material or links to material that exploits people in a sexual, violent or other manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18.

You may not use your Surveyor Jobs posting to:

(a) post jobs in a manner that does not comply with applicable local, national and international laws, including but not limited to laws relating to labour and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use, and intellectual property;
(b) post jobs that require citizenship of any particular country or lawful permanent residence in a country as a condition of employment, unless otherwise required in order to comply with law, regulations, executive order, or federal, state or local government contract;
(c) post jobs that include any screening requirement or criterion in connection with a job posting where such requirement or criterion is not an actual and legal requirement of the posted job;
(d) post jobs or other advertisements for competitors of Hemming Group Limited or post jobs or other content that contains links to any site competitive with Hemming Group Limited;
(e) sell, promote or advertise products or services;
(f) post any franchise, pyramid scheme, ‘club membership’, distributorship, multi-level marketing opportunity, or sales representative agency arrangement;
(g) post any business opportunity that requires an up front or periodic payment or requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents;
(h) post any business opportunity that pays commission only unless the posting clearly states that the available job pays commission only and clearly describes the product or service that the job seeker would be selling;
(i) promote any opportunity that does not represent bona fide employment;
(j) post jobs on Surveyor Jobs for modeling, acting, talent or entertainment agencies or talent scouting positions;
(k) advertise sexual services or seek employees for jobs of a sexual nature;
(l) request the use of human body parts or the donation of human parts, including, without limitation, reproductive services such as egg donation and surrogacy;
(m) endorse a particular political party, political agenda, political position or issue;
(n) promote a particular religion; 
(o) except where allowed by applicable law, post jobs which require the applicant to provide information relating to his/her (i) racial or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs(iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual life (vii) the commission of criminal offences or proceedings or (vii) age.

Customer apply direct option is a service that allows the customer to redirect their job seekers from a Surveyor Jobs posting to a website not hosted by Hemming Group Lim ed and reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject the linking of recruiter’s job postings to websites which are deemed unsuitable.
The recruiters acknowledges that job postings on Surveyor Jobs also appear in search results on other websites owned or affiliated with Hemming Group Limited, including websites co-branded with third parties.

Other advertising

Other advertising opportunities are available on Surveyor Jobs, defined as time based advertising.
These take the form of banners, skyscraper and tile advertisements running across the site, and a Job of the Week position on the site home page. Banners and tiles on Surveyor Jobs display a number of different advertisements on a rotating basis. The terms of time-based advertising are as set out in the sales order.
Recruiters can also opt to have banner and tile advertisements appearing on jobs-by-email bulletins under the terms set out in the sales order.
Positioning of tile advertisements on Surveyor Jobs and associated email services is at Hemming Group Limited’s discretion.
Recruiter profile: A recruiter profile is a profile of the recruiter’s company and/or business which is designed to strengthen customer’s brand and inform and educate potential clients and employees. Recruiters can include a profile with its job postings.

Hemming Group Limited does not warrant the date or dates of insertion of the advertisement(s) and does not warrant that the advertisement(s) will not be displayed after the end date specified. However, Hemming Group Limited will use reasonable efforts to comply with customer’s request in this regard. Upon termination of this agreement, Hemming Group Limited will uninstall the customer’s advertisement, and terminate the hyperlink to customer’s advertised site.

Hemming Group Limited reserves the right to remove any job posting or content from Surveyor Jobs, which in the reasonable exercise of Hemming Group Limited’s discretion, does not comply with the above terms, or if any content is posted that Hemming Group Limited believes is not in the best interest of Hemming Group Limited.
If at any time during your use of Surveyor Jobs, you made a misrepresentation of fact to Hemming Group Limited or otherwise misled Hemming Group Limited in regards to the nature of your business activities, Hemming Group Limited will have grounds to terminate your use of the Surveyor Jobs.


CV Database

Use of the Hemming Group Limited CV Database by Recruiters

Customers can purchase credits entitling them to down load candidate’s CVs held in the Hemming Group Limted CV database. You shall use the Hemming Group Limited CV database as provided in these terms and in any contract you have with Hemming Group Limited. You shall use the Hemming Group Limited CV database in accordance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws, and you agree you shall not further disclose any of the data from Hemming Group Limited CV database to any third party, unless you are an authorised recruitment agency, staffing agency, advertising or other agency or using the CV explicitly for employment purposes.

You shall take appropriate physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect the data you have obtained from Hemming Group Limited CV database from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

The Hemming Group Limited CV Database shall not be used:
(a) for any purpose other than as an employer seeking employees, including but not limited to advertising promotions, products, or services to any CV holders;
(b) to make unsolicited phone calls or faxes or send unsolicited mail, email, or newsletters to CV holders or to contact any individual unless they have agreed to be contacted (where consent is required or, if express consent is not required, who has informed you that they do not want to be contacted); or
In order to ensure a safe and effective experience for all of our customers, Hemming Group Limited reserves the right to limit the amount of data (including CV views) that may be accessed by you in any given time period. These limits may be amended in Hemming Group Limited’s sole discretion from time to time.

Additional Terms Applicable to Job Seekers.

When you register with Surveyor Jobs, you will be asked to create an account and provide Hemming Group Limited with certain information including, without limitation, a valid email address (your "information"). 

Any profile you submit must be accurate and describe you, an individual person. The profile requires standard fields to be completed although contact details will not be available to recruiters. However, these details will be contained only on your CV, which you may choose to make available to recruiters through Surveyor Jobs.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any CV or material contained therein placed by you on Surveyor Jobs.
Hemming Group Limited reserves the right to offer third party services and products to you based on the preferences that you identify in your registration and at any time thereafter or you have agreed to receive, such offers may be made by Hemming Group Limited or by third parties.

You understand and acknowledge that you have no ownership rights in your account and that if you cancel your Surveyor Jobs account or Surveyor Jobs account is terminated, all your account information from Hemming Group Limited, including CVs, profiles, cover letters, saved jobs, questionnaires will be marked as deleted in and may be deleted from Hemming Group Limited 's databases and will be removed from any public area of the Surveyor Jobs. Information may continue to be available for some period of time because of delays in propagating such deletion through Hemming Group Limited’s web servers. In addition, third parties may retain saved copies of your information. 

Applications and Correspondence with recruiters and/or employment agencies (third parties). Recruiters and/or Employment Agencies should never ask for money to arrange a meeting or referral. Jobseekers should not send any money. If you receive such correspondence, please inform us immediately, as this is a breach of our terms and conditions.

Hemming Group Limited reserves the right to delete your account and all of your information after a significant duration of inactivity.
Cancellation Policy
Hemming Group Limited does not accept any cancellation during the agreed contract dates clearly stated on the contract. Upon receipt of the signed agreement, the customer has by law legally entered into a legally binding contract.
 
PRIVACY

Information we collect from our customers and users of our websites may be used in the following ways.

1. Subscription Services
Personal information provided as part of the registration/subscription process for any publication, product or service is used to manage your access and to enable us to provide a better service.

2. Payment details
Any information provided by you in connection with any transaction regarding your credit or debit card numbers, expiry date and billing or delivery address will be used by World Pay to process the transaction.  Hemming Group Limited does not store credit card details.

3. Contact details
We will use contact details provided by you as part of any registration process (i.e. your name, job title, telephone and fax number and your e-mail and postal addresses) to provide any product or services requested by you and also to tell you about important changes to relevant registration/subscription services and their functionality.

Contact details will be used by Hemming Group Limited to provide you with information about other services and products which may interest you and be disclosed to third party businesses and advertisers for the same purpose only if you have given us permission to do so.

4. Voluntary Information
We may ask for further information about you as part of online surveys or if you enter any competition or other promotional feature. This information will be used to enable us to improve the relevant publication, product or service and may also be disclosed to other companies as specified in the relevant promotion.

5. Statistical information
Aggregate statistical information provided by us to our advertisers or others regarding sales or website usage will not include personally identifying information.

6. Security
Your personal data will be held on a secure server. Our sites are equipped with security and firewall software.

7. Access to Data
Under the Data Protection Act 1988. You have the right to be told what personal information we hold about you on our databases.
