How do I post jobs on the site?

You have two options for posting jobs on Surveyor Jobs.

Jobs can either be posted online, with payment made by credit card, or you can contact the Surveyor Jobs team

Posting jobs and purchasing CVs online

Jobs can be posted on Surveyor Jobs from as little as .

To post jobs and purchase CVs online, recruiters first need to create an account using this simple form.

Before you post a job or download a candidate CV, you need to purchase credits.

Credits allow you to:

  • To post a job
  • To 'promote' a job - A promoted job appears on the site home page and has a promoted listing in search results.
  • To purchase a CV - Recruiters can browse candidate jobseeker profiles on Surveyor Jobs and can subsequently download a candidate CV.

If you have no credits in your account, you will be reminded to purchase them before your jobs goes live or you are able to download a candidate CV.

How do I register for Surveyor Jobs?

Registering your details is quick and straightforward. Fill in the form on registration to create an account. The system will generate a user names (your email address) and a password will be sent to you. Don't worry if you don't have an up to date CV or covering letter to hand as you can update you account details at any time after registering. Remember, the more information you add to the site on your job seeker profile, the better jobs matches you will receive and more relevant enquiries from prospective employers.

Do I have to upload a CV and covering letter?

No, but uploading your CV makes the job application process far simpler using Surveyor Jobs. By including your CV, you will be able to apply for jobs through the site. Surveyor jobs also allows you to upload any number of CVs helping you to target particular jobs which may require you to highlight a particular skills set. Uploading you CV also makes it searchable to recruiters looking for candidates with your skills and experience.

However, your details will be available only when recruiters have paid to view them. Consequently, you will not be bombarded with job offers and other material. For more information, see you terms and conditions.

If you decide that you are no longer actively seeking a new job, you can deactivate your jobs seeker status and deselect the jobs by email function.

Covering letter

In common with the CV upload, Surveyor Jobs allows you to upload any number of covering letters which you can use to apply for jobs online.

How do I receive jobs by email?

When you register for Surveyor Jobs, you can also elect to receive jobs updates by email. The Jobs by email function is based on searches you carry out on the site. You can either make simple keyword searches or use the advanced search, which allows you to filter by region, sector, salary etc. Once you have performed your search, Surveyor Jobs will ask if you want jobs by email based on this search. Jobs that meet this search profile will then be sent to you as and when they are posted on the site.

Can I apply for jobs directly through Surveyor Jobs?

Surveyor Jobs allows candidates to apply for jobs directly through the site or, if the recruiter wishes, apply via their microsite. If you apply for a job using Surveyor Jobs, you may be asked qualifying questions which have been specified by that recruiter. The site does allow you to save your applications and check them before posting.

How does Surveyor Jobs use my data?

By registering for Surveyor Jobs and activating the jobs seeker functions highlighted above, you are making your details available for potential recruiters. Consequently, please think carefully about which address you would like jobs related emails sent to. In addition, recruiters will be able to pay to view your CV if they are suitable impressed with your jobs seeker profile.
